The Sexual Assault Support Service (SASS) is a not-for-profit organisation committed to creating a healthy, safe Tasmania free from sexual violence. SASS services include specialised therapeutic support for survivors of sexual violence and their supporters, as well as primary prevention education and training for organisations, institutions, and communities. Together, we are building a future where respect and safety are at the centre of every Tasmanian community. SASS is currently seeking an Intake Counsellor to join our team to be the first point of contact for clients accessing SASS and Arch. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the newly established Arch centre, where you will work collaboratively with service providers to provide timely, coordinated, trauma informed and tailored support to children, young people and adults affected by sexual harm. This position will be permanent part-time, with the hours available from a minimum of 2 days per week, up to 4 days per week (subject to funding). We are interested in understanding applicant’s preferred hours and days of week.
