Groups Program

At SASS, our Groups program offer gentle, supportive spaces where you can learn, connect, and explore wellbeing alongside others who may share similar experiences. Some groups focus on understanding trauma and learning practical coping tools. Others offer creative wellbeing activities that support grounding, self-expression, and connection. You are always free to participate in ways that feel safe for you, whether that means sharing, listening, or simply being present. You never need to talk about personal experiences to attend a group. Choice, respect, and emotional safety are central to how we work.

Psychoeducation workshops
focus on building knowledge, confidence, and resilience in a safe and welcoming environment. These one-off workshops provide a supportive introduction to SASS services and offer practical information about trauma and wellbeing. Many people attend while waiting for counselling, using these sessions to build understanding, reduce isolation, and learn skills that support day-to-day coping.
Well-being workshops
provide relaxed spaces for creativity, connection, and self-expression. Creative activities can support mindfulness, grounding, and a deeper sense of self, all within a supportive environment. You are welcome to attend as often or as little as you like.
